Supporting Your Pregnancy with Shared Antenatal Care

Shared Antenatal Care is an integrated model of pregnancy care where your antenatal care is coordinated between your local public hospital’s maternity services, and a qualified General Practitioner (GP) at an ANSC (Australian National Standardised Care) accredited clinic. This approach allows you to receive the benefits of both types of care – the added benefit of having access to the antenatal care services at the hospital near your home, along with the convenience of visiting your private GP.
At Greenfield Medical Centre, we are committed to supporting your needs throughout the duration of your pregnancy by providing comprehensive Antenatal Care services. This will include regular appointments for check-ups, blood tests, glucose tolerance testing and pathology collection services to monitor both your health and your baby’s health.
This pregnancy program provides a crucial role in women’s health by providing pregnant women with an individualized approach to their pregnancies by providing them with ongoing medical supervision, early pregnancy complication detection and guidance during their pregnancy. Our facility has experienced doctors along with updated medical facilities that provide the necessary services required to deliver a woman a safe and reliable pregnancy experience.
Shared Antenatal Care provides continued support through regular health assessments, ongoing nutrition advice and ongoing medical support. Our goal at Greenfield Medical Centre is to provide all women the most comfortable and affordable maternity care possible and to provide long term ongoing support for all mothers through continued women’s health.
