Oman Promotes Cultural Tourism to German Traveller’s at ITB Berlin
The tourism leaders from Oman have enhanced their participation at the ITB Berlin 2026, which is one of the largest tourism and travel trade exhibitions around the globe. During the exhibition, Oman has showcased its tourism vision and has been promoting the country as a safe and culturally diverse destination for international travelers, with specific emphasis on the German market.
The German tourism market is one of the most important segments for the tourism industry in Oman. Official statistics have confirmed that the country received 137,386 German tourists in 2025, which is an increase from the 135,133 tourists from the country in 2024. The increase in the number of German tourists to Oman is a clear indicator of the surge in the demand for cultural tourism, heritage tourism, and nature tourism from the German tourism market.
By enhancing the tourism relationship with the German market, Oman is looking to become a destination of choice for international travelers seeking cultural, safe, and unique tourism experiences in the Middle East region.
